It's a very wise idea to invest in toppers that will protect your slide-out and all of its hardware while the slide is extended. A good rule of thumb with every topper is to have a few inches on either side covered as well as the slide-out itself, as long as there isn't some sort of clearance issue with another constructed part of the camper's exterior. No you aren't missing anything; if the 34" to 60" Valterra RV Sewer Hose Carrier # A04-3460 doesn't have the proper length for your RV, then you will need to go with the longer option. With the battery of of your trailer disconnected for the off-season the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC675817 will loose the zero point calibration so you will need to reconfigure it before taking the trailer on the first trip of the new season.
This is also the case if your battery goes dead or gets low the zero point calibration could be lost and need to be reconfigured.
I would just add reconfiguring the system to your beginning of season checklist so that you do not forget.

You can mount the Ultra-Fab Skid Wheels for Low-Profile RVs up to 30' Long - 4" Diameter - Qty 2 Item # UF48-979011 to the rear end of the frame of your 2017 Coachmen Chaparral Fifth Wheel or to the hitch if you have one. I would not mount these to the bumper as most bumpers are not reinforced and able to handle any weight strain.

While the SM Arnold Waterblade part # 38125-926 can be used to apply a PVC roof membrane it isn't very stiff so this would be best used for small detail areas rather than the entirety of the membrane. I might have a solution for you, however it will not be a exact factory replacement. We have the Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder # LA-401BA that has an aluminum construction and is black in color. We also have the Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladder # SP502L. It is also an aluminum ladder but it is silver in color. The Stromberg Carlson ladder would be a closer replacement with out having to get a factory ladder.

The base of the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550045 you were looking at is 30" wide and 28" long, and 7-1/2" tall as you can see in the included diagram.
The opening is 3-1/4" square and will only work with the Demco Recon Head Unit. You will not be able to use it with a square gooseneck ball as that is not what it was designed or tested for, and attempting to do would void the warranty of the adapter.

Acccording to MaxxAir, you'll want to remove power from the MaxxAir # MA00-04000K fan for a minute or two, then reconnect to reboot the circuit board. In the vast majority of instances, this will fix the problem. You should also check that the fan is receiving 12 volt power and that the rain sensor isn't wet. view full answer...
I wish that was possible but there isn't a way to wire the MaxxFan so that it would power on to last used settings. There isn't a remote that works with this either. There is a similar version of this that does have a remote control with the MaxxFan RV Roof Vent part # MA00-07500K which would require you to remove what you have now.
